[Problem Encountered] In the production TiDB, there are multiple databases. Currently, there is one database (e.g., the history database) that is not particularly important. Can this database be set to have only two replicas?
It seems that there is currently no official parameter specifically for setting the number of replicas for a particular database table. However, the number of TiFlash replicas can be set Cluster Management FAQ | PingCAP Docs
Using Placement Rules or Placement Policy can set the number of replicas for a specific database or table. If you use the former, you need to specify the table’s keyrange. However, I haven’t tried setting it to two replicas; you can test it out.
