Migrating to new_collation_enabled?

Hi - is there any migration path from an existing cluster to a new collation compatible cluster? It seems like the only way to enable is via the first bootstrap parameter, and even trying to migrate by creating a new cluster seems like br is setup to bail if there’s a mismatch. Any advice appreciated!
