TOP 5 Idea-Maker Incentive Award:
Have a groundbreaking idea that pushes the boundaries of innovation? Share it with us on the idea-list Discord channel and stand a chance to win the TOP 5 Idea-Maker Award. Not only will you receive recognition for your brilliant idea, but you’ll also take home a $100 cash incentive reward!
Rules for Top 5 Idea-makers with the most votes:
1. Who can participate:
- All participants who have registered TiDB Future App Hackathon

2. How to submit ideas:
- Participants can submit your ideas to the idea-list channel on the official TiDB Future App Hackathon server. You can use text to submit ideas.
- Please note that you should reply to your idea in accordance with the format in the post rules. Ideas that do not conform to the format of the rules may be considered invalid.
3. How to vote:
- Before the deadline (July 29th, 2023 ), all members can react to emoji thumbs-up👍 on the idea-list channel on the server for the best ideas they think should win. Each member can not vote for the same story more than once.
4. How the scores are calculated:
- Ideas will be ranked based on the number of emoji reactions they receive. The top five ideas with the most reactions will win the award.
5. Awards:
- The top five participants with the most voted ideas will each receive $100 prize for the incentive award.
TOP 5 Story-Teller Award:
Are you a master of storytelling? We want to hear your captivating tales about your journey in the TiDB Future App Hackathon. Post your TiDB Future App Hackathon-related stories on the storyteller Discord channel, and the TOP 5 stories with the most votes will win the coveted TOP 5 Story-Teller Award. Each winner will receive a $100 cash incentive reward!
1. Who can participate:
- All participants who have SUBMITTED their TiDB Future App Hackathon project.
（This rule is in place because we want to make sure that the story you post is related to the TiDB Future App Hackathon.）
2. How to submit stories:

If you have already submitted your project, you can now submit your TiDB Future App-related Hackathon stories or fun experience in story-teller channel.

You can use text & images to submit your stories. ( The limit for text is 2000 characters)

Please note that the story submitted for the Motivation Award campaign should be related to your experience participating in the TiDB Future App Hackathon . This includes, but is not limited to, inspirational stories, the backstory behind your team formation and the development of your creative app, challenges faced during app creation, and how you or your team overcame them, etc.

The story you reply to on the channel can be the same as the “project story” section of the final submission.
3. How to vote:
- Before the deadline (July 29th, 2023 ), all participants can react to thumbs-up emoji
on the story-teller channel for the best stories they think should win. Each member can not vote for the same story more than once.
4. How the scores are calculated:
- Stories will be ranked based on the number of thumbs-up emoji reactions they receive on discord story-teller channel. The top five stories with the most reactions will win the award.
5. Awards:
- The top five participants with the most voted ideas will each receive $100 prize for the incentive award.
